Coach Riza Calimbay started the Nigerian international in the away team's attack alongside Max Gradel and the duo were exceptional in the hard-fought 1-0 win.
The visitors efforts to score more goals in the second half of the game were not successful, as the match ended 1-0 in favour of the visiting team.
Olanrewaju Kayode was superb for the home team in the entertaining encounter, and he played a vital part in his team's only goal of the game.
The 1-0 victory over Gaziantep FK has now extended Riza Calimbay's Sivasspor unbeaten run in the league to 16, and that has also taken them to the 5th spot in the Turkish Super Lig table with 58 points from 37 matches played.
