The January transfer window is gradually approaching and a lot of teams will be expected to complete the signing of players that will help them strengthen their squad. Chelsea's transfer chief, Marina Granovskaia worked so hard to assemble this current Chelsea squad as she made sure the blues got the best of deals for the past few summers.
Marina Granovskaia will be expected to work her magic again in the transfer market again this winter and here are two brave decisions she might be expected to make in order to fortify this Chelsea squad.
1. Eden Hazard's Return
The truth of the matter is that plenty Chelsea fans are now growing impatient on Chelsea's delayed decision concerning the return of Eden Hazard from Real Madrid. After Hazard's opening bad spell at Real Madrid, the Belgian talented attacker is now seeking to return to his former club in a bid to rekindle his career. Hazard's struggles at Real Madrid were obviously caused by the incessant injuries.
There is no doubt Hazard's abilities when in possession of the ball is always a source of trouble for opposition defenders. Marina would have to make known her intentions about the striker.
2. Ross Barkley
The midfielder is currently showing signs of improvement with just the little game time that was given to him. Ross Barkley spent more than half of last season on loan at Aston Villa where he revived his career and this even earned him a call up by Chelsea. Be it as it may, clubs like Newcastle are keeping tabs on the midfielder and the blues might decide to sign.
Tuchel's Haaland Admission
Chelsea tried so hard to bring in Erling Haaland during last summer but they ended up bringing in Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan. "I don’t think we not really were close to get him. But let us see what will happen the next weeks." Tuchel added: "We have talked about Haaland a couple of times also in the transfer window. It looked unrealistic and not possible to do."
