MNU vs FUL: Man United's Potential Starting XI against Fulham that could see finish third on the log

Erik ten Hag is facing new injury concerns for Antony and Luke Shaw as he prepares Manchester United to face Fulham on Sunday, and it is expected that Jadon Sancho will be given the opportunity to start.

Antony, the Brazilian winger, suffered a significant ankle injury and had to be taken off on a stretcher during the 4-1 victory over Chelsea. Ten Hag confirmed the seriousness of the blow, indicating that Antony will be sidelined for at least the final day of the Premier League. This opens the door for Sancho to make an impression and potentially secure his place in the FA Cup final.

Ten Hag praised Sancho's performance on the right wing during Thursday night's match, particularly highlighting his contribution in assisting Anthony Martial's goal to make it 2-0. The Dutch tactician said, "He performed excellently on the right side, and I believe he had a very impressive game.

Considering the proximity of the FA Cup final, which is just six days after the Fulham match, and with a secured top-four finish, Ten Hag may opt to rotate the team and prioritize the fitness of players like Marcus Rashford and Raphael Varane, who have dealt with recent issues.

Left-back Luke Shaw, who had to be substituted at halftime against Chelsea due to a back complaint, may also be protected. Tyrell Malacia is prepared to provide cover at Old Trafford if Shaw is unable to feature.

Additionally, Lisandro Martinez, Marcel Sabitzer, and Donny van de Beek are currently unavailable for selection.
