Barcelona Feminine football club of Spain superstar Asisat Oshoala has clarified her initial statement about calling Nigeria a jungle because of the protest going on across the country, due to the way a part of Police force is dealing with some Nigerians.
Asisat Oshoala who has been part of the people calling on the Nigerian government to put an end to a part of the Police Force which is known as the Special Anti Robbery Squad, that an end must be put to the brutality of the Police Force.
Asisat made a statement via her verified Twitter handle on Sunday that Nigeria is like a jungle because it's very difficult to survive because of the way some set of people are oppressing both privileged and non-privileged people, but the Barcelona star has now clarified her statement on Monday via her verified Twitter handle by saying she loves her country very well, but the country is not just for the week.
"I made a tweet yesterday about nigeria being a jungle. I did that in relation to the #EndSARS protest and not the country at large. I was clearly saying Nigeria isn’t for the weak, you have to be really strong and very confident...Don’t get it twisted, I love this country as you all do hence reason for my outburst.
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY, AND WILL NOT RUN AWAY ❤"
Reacting to Asisat Oshoala's statement, Nigerians have now started praising the Barcelona star for her statement, saying she doesn't need to clarify anything, because it's obvious for everyone.
After Nigerian government dissolved the Special Anti Robbery Squad known as SARS on Sunday, the Nigerians are still not satisfied, as they are saying Sars must be eradicated totally.
