After testing positive for Covid-19, N'Golo Kante will miss Chelsea's Champions League match against Juventus.

The midfielder's absence adds to Thomas Tuchel's problems in Turin, where he will be without the injured Reece James, Christian Pulisic, and Mason Mount.

On the day of the match, the German announced his injury-plagued squad, saying: "Christian, Reece, and Mason are out due to injury." Covid-19 has been found in N'Golo.”

After winning their first two Champions League games, Chelsea and Juventus are tied on points at the top of Group H.

It is something we must accept. This is pretty much all I have to say. I'm well aware that the matter is far from done. It makes you realize it isn't over yet.”

"Do I have the authority to speak what I'm about to say?" I'm not convinced. It's a serious matter; immunizations appear to provide adequate protection; I'm vaccinated, but I don't see myself in a position to make recommendations,” Tuchel said of players leading by example.
