Four Manchester United Players Who Should Not Start The Match Against Liverpool This Weekend

Man United will play against Liverpool in the English Premier League on Sunday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have not played well in the English Premier League for about three weeks now. They even lost to Leicester City in the Premier League last weekend. Solskjaer should make many changes against Liverpool this weekend. Below are four players who should not start the match against Liverpool on Sunday.

1. Fred

The Brazilian international has been criticised since the commencement of the current campaign. This is because he has not played well for Manchester United this season. It should be said that Fred scored an own goal against Southampton earlier this campaign.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should not include Fred in the starting eleven against Liverpool. This is because Fred lacks the speed to play against players like Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

2. Mason Greenwood

Greenwood has played many matches in the English Premier League. He also played against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should give Mason Greenwood a rest against Liverpool. This will allow Marcus Rashford to start the match.

3. David de Gea

The Spanish star has overtaken Dean Henderson as Manchester United's first choice goalkeeper this season. However, he should not start the match against Liverpool. This is because David de Gea has conceded in seven out of eight games in the English Premier League this season.

In other words, the Spanish goalkeeper has only kept one clean sheet in the league this season. He should be replaced by Dean Henderson against Liverpool.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo has scored three goals in the English Premier League this season. However, he has played poorly over the past few weeks. He scored a goal against Atalanta on Wednesday night. However, he did not touch the ball on many occasions.

It is also important to point out that Ronaldo needs players who can cross the ball for him to score. However, players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Fred have not provided any assist in the league this season. Ronaldo should be dropped in favour of Edinson Cavani.
