17-year-old Nigerian youngster Shola Shoretire scored his first hat-trick for the Red Devils Reserve Team in a 6-4 victory over Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2.
The visitors gave their host a difficult time and went ahead in the Connor Mcbride in the thirteenth minute before Hannibal Mejbri equalized for United.
Blackburn Rovers took the lead again through the boots of Samuel Barnes. Before Shola Shoretire leveled up for the host before the end of the first half.
Joe Nolan put the visitors ahead with eleven minutes into the second half while Shola Shoretire leveled things for the host with seventeen minutes to the end of the game.
Joe Hugill made 4-3 in favour of United a minute after they drew level. Shola Shoretire completed his hat-trick in the 78th minute of the contest.
New signing Amad Diallo scored the sixth goal in the 85th minute. Manchester United controlled the game and held on to the victory.
The youngster has scored five goals and created four assists in thirteen league games.
Shola has been playing for the age-groups, before signing as a first-year scholar. He became the youngest-ever player to appear in the UEFA Youth League when, in 2018, he came off the bench against Valencia as a 14-year-old.
The Nigerian descent striker is expected to sign his first professional contract soon at Manchester United.
