Chelsea's Bid For No. 1 Player Disrupted As Bayern Alters Sales Agreement

Chelsea signed Timo Werner and has been looking forward to adding Kai Havertz to the squad before Bayern Leverkusen made a U-Turn by changing formal deal agreement according to recent reports by Sports Bild.

Chelsea has been leading in various bid for signing Bayern Leverkusen's Kai Havertz until the club, according to Sport Bild shove their interest on clubs with a better pay recently. 

Bayern Munich is reported to have increased Kai Havertz's signing to the sum of £90million for any bidder. Chelsea's hope of getting him below that amount makes their hope bashed on a wall. Sports Bild noted that Bayen did it purposely to chase Chelsea from signing him. 

Kai Havertz's outstanding performances so far has been the reason behind different biddings on him watchfully when transfer window re-opens. The 21 year-old player has the record of chipping in 17 goals coupled with 9 assists in his 43 appearances for the club.

Chelsea's interest in Kai Havertz has been reported by several press but it's fast coming to an end with Bayern Leverkusen's most recent move. The club's sporting Director, Rudi Voller made it known in an interview that they have an agreement, the fitness of the player would set him loose on any club willing to pay the stipulated amount.
