Inter Milan failed to win their 2nd UCL game today, the Italian giants played 0-0 with Shaktar Donetsk at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium.

Inter Milan lacked that creativity upfront, they found it difficult to get any shot on target until the 80th minute of the game. This team sold Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea in the last transfer window on a fee of €115m.

Romelu Lukaku was their joint highest goalscorer last season,he also helped them to win the Serie A award after scoring over 25 goals in the Italian league.

Inter Milan started really well this season, they are still doing well in Serie A but winning a UCL game continues being a problem for them.

Their first UCL game was against Real Madrid some weeks ago, Carlo Ancelotti's men beat them 1-0 at their home stadium despite the presence of their new striker Edin Dzeko.

Romelu Lukaku was Inter Milan's best player last season, his combination with Lautaro Martinez produced a lot of goals. The Belgian striker(Lukaku) was the team's saviour last season, they hesistated in selling him to Chelsea but Marina Granovskaia really tabled a good bid which cannot be refused.

Lukaku has already scored a total of 4 goals for his new team, he gave Thomas Tuchel's pattern a new shape although Manchester City did not fall for the tactics.

With Inter Milan's current UCL poor result, is it proper to say that Chelsea stole their saviour?

I think Chelsea really stole this team's saviour, Romelu Lukaku never failed to score or assist in almost all the game he played for Inter Milan last season.

Inter Milan's current pattern really need a striker like Romelu Lukaku, their newly signed striker Edin Dzeko is really doing a great job but Lukaku's absence was really felt .
