Graham Potter should consider deploying Wesley Fofana at Chelsea's right-back after James' absence.

There are rumors that Reece James might not be available for the game against Leeds today leaving Chelsea's head coach, Graham Potter in shambles of who to deploy to the right-back position because Azpilicueta is injured too.

Many might be looking at Chalobah to cover up the lapses in the right-back position, but I think Wesley Fofana would be a great fit for that right-back position.

Reasons:

Wesley Fofana possesses some dribbling ability that could assist in Chelsea's attacking position: If I'm not mistaken, I believe that right or left-back defenders should be able to possess a good dribbling ability to be assisting their wing-forwards in pushing for attacks. Like James, Wesley Fofana possesses some decisive movements and dribbling qualities which makes him eligible to cover up the right-back position in the absence of James.

Fofana is defensively versatile and can cover up for the absence of James: Wesley Fofana is a defender who can fit into any defensive position before his versatility. This is seen in Fofana's proficiency to cover up for James whenever Chelsea's squad is on a break. Fofana unlike other players does not necessarily fret at the sight of a ball which makes him feel at ease to distribute passes too.

Fofana has speed: Wesley Fofana possesses an enhanced pace making it a good advantage for him to always moves to and fro during breaks and defending too. With this quality, Fofana will always return to defend in haste to solidify Chelsea's defensive position at all times.
