Almost done deal: Chelsea FC set to agree personal terms with their prime target

Chelsea FC are inching nearer to a deal to sign the 21 year-old German attacking midfielder, Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.

The Blues are edging closer to clinching another sensational attacker signing with the Frank Lampard's side on the verge of agreeing personal terms for the German ace, Kai Havertz.

Chelsea FC are the only team in the race for the Manchester United FC linked attacker willing to meet his asking price. The Frank Lampard's side have already secured the signature of the 27 year-old Moroccan attacker Hakim Ziyech to the Stamford Bridge after his £33million January switch from Ajax while the 24 year-old German prolific striker, Timo Werner will join up with his new colleagues after sealing a £48million switch from RB Leipzig towards the end of the month.

But the Blues want to further strengthen their new-look attacking options with Kai Havertz, who lit up the German Bundesliga after the German top-flight resumed in May.

The 21-year-old Bayer Leverkusen netted six goals in eight matches to end the season on total of seventeen goals and nine assists from 43 appearances, playing in a Number 10 role but also as an advance central forward and out on the right wing.
