Romelu Lukaku made a shock return to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea paid a whopping sum of £97.5m to Inter Milan for his service.
The Belgian international went on to sign a 5-year deal with the European champions.
However, the 28-year-old forward made his debut during the premier league match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, scoring Chelsea's opener in the 15th minute before Reece James scored the second goal to secure all three points for the Blues.

Romelu Lukaku has been in stunning form for the Belgian national team, where he made his 100th appearance on Sunday during the world cup qualifying match against Czech Republic. He marked his centurion appearance with a brace, which took his total tally for the national team to 67 goals.
It is worth noting that Lukaku has scored 50 goals in his last 50 appearances for the Red Devils, which suggests his massive goalscoring form at the national scene.

However, Lukaku's Belgian form has not been replicated in Chelsea, and that should be understandable.
The 28-year-old has formed a formidable partnership with the likes of Eden Hazard, Thorgan Hazard, and the rest of the Belgian squad, and that partnership has been existing for over 4 years. On the other hand, he has barely spent a month at Chelsea, which means he needs some time to gel with the likes of Kai Harvertz, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, and the other Chelsea squad member.
However, a goal in his two appearances for Chelsea isn't a bad one for Lukaku and his impact against Liverpool was subdued by Reece James's red card before halftime.

This article is to counter those who had started calling him a flop just because he failed to influence the match against Liverpool as much as he did against Arsenal.
