Every summer since Neymar departed Camp Nou for Paris Saint Germain, there has always been a rumour linking him back to the Catalan outfit where he enjoyed unparalleled success with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez forming a dreadful strike force that mesmerised football fans and lovers across the world.
Suarez left the club last summer with Messi submitting a transfer request that was rejected by the board of the club. The desire to play with his old pal Messi is what Neymar wish he could have once again.
With Messi's contract expiring at the end of the season and Neymar due for a contract extension signing, many are wondering if the two South American players are ever going to feature in the same team again.
Barcelona will lock horn with Athletic Club Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final at Seville and club president Joan Laporta travelled with the team, surrounded by journalists when been asked about the possibility of signing the player by a concerned fan, Laporta replied saying "I like him too".
Fans of FC Barcelona will love to see him back at the stadium where he pleased them with his tricks and dribble.
The major hurdle to this deal will be finance, with Barcelona suffering from the worst financial crisis in years courtesy of the previous board who recked the club with financial mismanagement.
Laporta already has his hands full trying to bring in one marquee signing this summer and operating under a budget that doesn't say much, many are waiting to see the kind of wonders he's going to perform come summer.
