Liverpool possible lineup to start against Watford

Liverpool will get a chance to move to the top of the Premier League table as they play Watford at Vicarage Road in the lunchtime kickoff of Premier League Matchday 8 encounter.

Liverpool will the miss the presence of Brazilian duo Fabinho and Alisson who arrived late after representing Brazil in the World Cup qualfiers.

Liverpool have won 7 of their last 10 matches against Watford but Ismaila Sar and Troy Deeney inspired Watford to a deserving 3-0 win over Liverpool in their last meeting.

Defence

Alisson will miss this game after Brazil’s very late fixture this week. This will give Caoimhin Kelleher who has displaced Adrian as second choice a chance to feature between the posts Trent Alexander-Arnold is fit again and will slot in at the right-back position. 

Matip and Virgil van Dijk should continue their partnership in the centre back position while Andrew Robertson should kept his place at the Left-back.

Midfield

Fabinho is also out of this clash with the same reason as Alisson, while Thiago, Jones and Harvey Elliott are all injured. So, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could all take up the midfield places

Attack

Jota is fit after knock in midweek so he could start with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane joining him in the front-three.
