It's no big news to all of us watching Laliga that this season, Benzema has undoubtedly been the best all round player. The Real Madrid striker this has already cracked up 19 goals second only to Lionel Messi who has 22 goals and with the way things are going, he might go ahead to win the Pichichi award.
Karim Benzema this season hasn't just played the role of a number 9 but has played an all round excellent football this season, leading Real Madrid for the chase of the title.
Lionel Messi on the other hand, although with more goals and assists hasn't been on his top form, with much to be desired.
Before coming to a conclusion, it is good to note that more than 80 percent of the penalties that Real Madrid had won this season were all played by Ramos, which made him the second highest scoring Real Madrid player with 11 goals, let's assume that they were being played by Benzema, undoubtedly he would have far higher goals than Lionel Messi.
