The president of Kwara state baptist conference Rev. Victor Dada has spoken on the use of Hijab in mission schools. It should be remembered that it is this misunderstanding that led to the fight in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state on March 17th 2021.
Reverend Dada said that they will defend their faith since the state is not respecting the rule of law and the refusal of the state to respect the rule of law could cause chaos.
The clergy also maintained that the case causing uproar in the state is in the supreme court but the state government under the leadership of Gov. Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman is trying to go against the rule of law.
V.S Dada said the if the state refuses to respect the rule of law, then they will defend their faith and their properties.
He finally noted that they say no to the use of Hijab in mission schools.
