Ex-Golden Eaglets Winger Celebrates Third Goal For Swedish Club

The maiden season in Europe for former Nigeria U-17 winger, Akinwunmi Amoo is turning on nicely.

Amoo scored the last goal of the game in stoppage time as his club,  Hammarby IF came from behind to record a 3-1 win over Varbergs Bols on Wednesday.

It was the home team that struck first through Albin Mortfelt in the 34th minute and they ensured they kept the advantage until half time.

The comeback for Amoo and his teammates started after the hour-mark when Mohammed Aziz Qattara finally got the equaliser for Hammarby IF in the 67th minute.

Seven minutes afterwards, Mads Fenger shot the visitors ahead before Amoo put the icing on the victory; scoring three minutes into stoppage time.

The ex-Golden Eaglets forward was on his Twitter page to celebrate the comeback win and of course his goal.

He wrote:

Amoo joined  Swedish elite division side Hammarby on a four-year deal from Nigeria’s Sidos FC after he turned 18 in June  2020.

The midfielder will continue his progression with the Stockholm based outfit partly owned by football great Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
