The Nigerian basketball team, D'Tigers, recently lost their opening game in Tokyo Olympics to Australia. The Australians had won Nigeria's D'Tigers 84-67. The Nigerian team came as one of the favorites to clinch medal in the competition after they beat USA and Argentina in friendlies.
The D'Tigers will face the German strong side which had unfortunately lost to Italy in their first game. As such, the game between Nigeria and German in the basketball is one to look out for.
Many basketball coaches in Nigeria have advised the D'Tigers to be highly articulative and proactive. This is based on the fact that the German team is formidable and not an easy nut to crack.
The president of Nigeria Basketball Federation, Ahmadu Musa Kida has also encouraged D'Tigers to bounce back and pick a win for the nation. This is coming as Nigerians have accused the Nigerian Basketball Federation of poor management and support of the D'Tigers.
What do you think Nigeria should do differently against Germany?
