It is a side moment for the football world as they mourn one of their great and skillful player. He was the captain of Yeovil Town and also a mentor to others.
Late LeeCollins died at the age of 32. He began his football career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, which he also went to other clubs like Port Vale, Northampton Town, forest Green Rovers, FC Barnsley and later joined Yeovil Town in the year 2019.
Late Collins last appearance was on the 6 February 2021, as he played against Stockport. It is quite devastating that the cause of his death has not be revealed.
Reports also has it that Yeovil had a game yesterday being Friday against Altrincham in the National League But was postponed due to the sad incident.
Collins, who has been absent several times, struggled with injuries, but returned to the bench in the 3-1 defeat of Barnett in Yeovil Town last week.
A tribute will be paid to Collins on Friday, which they will host the FC Reading in the English Championship.
