Barcelona suffered their first major defeat of the season as they lost 1-0 to Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Saturday.

After Getafe beat Barcelona 1-0, this is how the La Liga table looks like.

Antoine Griezmann missed a big chance in the 30th minute of the game as he failed to convert the goal from a promising angle.

It ended goalless in the first half as both clubs couldn't get a goal at half time.

Jaime Mata eventually scored the opener for Getafe from the penalty spot in the 56th minute to make it 1-0 after Frenkie De Jong fouled Djene to concede the penalty in the 55th minute.

Juan Hernandez came close to doubling Getafe's lead in the 89th minute but he sent the wide off the post.

Getafe claimed the comfortable 1-0 win at full time as they moved up to the 2nd spot on the league table with 10 solid point while Barcelona are at 9th spot on the table.
