The European football governing body popularly known as UEFA has reacted after Super Eagles of Nigeria star Victor Osimhen netted a goal to guide Napoli FC to a 3-0 victory, over Legia Warsaw FC in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The former LOSC Lille star has been scoring goals for the club since the beginning of the season, and he was able to impress again on Thursday night.
The 22 years old was dropped to the bench by coach Luciano Spalletti and he was able to impress after replacing Hirving Lozano in the second half.
Both teams tried so hard to break the deadlock in the first half of the game, but all their efforts were not successful as the first half ended goalless.
The host opened scoring through a fine goal from Lorenzo Insigne and Victor Osimhen doubled the lead before Matteo Politano scored the last goal of the game in the 90th minutes to end the match 3-0.
With Victor Osimhen's goal, it means he has scored four goals in 3 UEFA Europa League games.
Reacting after Victor Osimhen nets again, UEFA posted on their verified Twitter handle that;

ℹ️ His 4th Europa League goal of the season and 9th in all competitions."
