FIFA has make some corrections in the rules and law guiding football.
Before the pandemic UEFA and FIFA rules guiding the the number of substitute a coach can make in a match is three. In all competition both Champion League, Europa League and National League the substitution is three.
After the pandemic the the rules was charged to five cause of the pressure and collision on the pitch, although it was not yet pass into law.
It was brought to finish the 2019-2020 campaign. The new campaign 2020-2021 experience a delay due to covid-19 with Last season ending August, the new Campaign Start September 2020 instead of August.
However the New law was proposed by FIFA to reduce the workload of the 2020-2021 football calendar due to delay to start the New campaign on time.
UEFA has pass into law that all league matches, Championship league, Europa League and National League in 2020-2021 campaign can make five substitution in a match.
"All executive committee has approved the use of five substitution in a match in 2020-2021 campaign" said UEFA President (Aleksandra Ceferin).
He also added that: “the new rule is for the rest of this campaign, after all committee and association club member has agreed.
World players’ union FIFPRO welcomed the decision on allowing five substitutes.
