1. Eduardo Da Silva's Injury

In 2008, while Eduardo Da Silver was still playing for Arsenal, he experience one of the worst injuries in history.

It was a premier league match against Birmingham City. Eduardo was going for a goal when he received an appalling tackle from Martin Taylor, who was playing as a defender for Birmingham City.

Eduardo fell hard on the ground, he broke his Fibula and dislocated his bone in the process. He spent a year off the pitch before he was able to recover.

2. Petr Cech's Injury

Known to be one of the best Premier League goalkeepers in history, some fans wondered why Petr Cech wore a helmet while playing but it was because of a serious head injury he suffered.

In 2006, while Petr Cech was still with the blues, he faces a life-threatening incident in a match against Reading.

The Reading Midfielder Stephen Hunt kneed Cech on his head. As a result, he collapsed in the dressing room and was rushed to the hospital afterward. He made a miraculous return 3 months later but wore a helmet to protect his fragile skull all his career.

3. Aaron Ramsey's injury

In a Premier league against Stroke City in 2010, Aaron Ramsey suffered one of the worst injuries in football history.

Ramsey was brought to the ground by Ryan Shawcross, it seemed like a normal injury but it was a lot worst.

As a result of the tackle, Ramsey suffered a double fracture and collapse on the pitch. While Ryan Shawcross was sent off immediately.

4. Bobby Zamora's Injury

In a league match against the Wolves in 2010, Bobby Zamora experienced one of the worst injuries in football history.

Zamora was going for a goal when he was tackled by Karl Henry. He broke his ankle ligament in the process and had to undergo surgery. He also stayed out of the pitch for so many months. It was one of the worst injuries in football history.

5. Neymar's Injury

In a World cup Match against Colombia in 2014, the Brazilian star suffered one of the worst injuries ever.

Camilo Zuniga planted his knee at Neymar's back in an attempt to stop him from getting a goal.

As a result, the Brazilian suffered a lumbar vertebrae fracture, and it took many months before he returned to action.
