Mendy is now leading the golden gloves race after he kept a clean sheet for Chelsea

Edouard Mendy added another clean sheet to his clean sheets in the UEFA Champions League. The Chelsea goalkeeper kept a clean sheet for his team as they defeated FC Porto in the first leg match of the UEFA Champions League quarter final. 


The Chelsea shot stopper was kept busy in Chelsea's clash with FC Porto, he made 5 saves in the match to deny the Portuguese club a single goal. Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell  both scored 1 goal each to give Chelsea a 2-0 lead into the second leg.


Ever since the Edouard Mendy join Chelsea, he has been keeping series of Clean sheets both in domestic matches and in Europe. Mendy has saved Chelsea many times with his incredible goalkeeping skills.


Mendy is joint leader the UEFA Champions League golden gloves race with 6 clean sheets. Mendy is tied with Manchester City's Ederson Moraes who also has 6 clean sheets in the Champions League.
