EPL GW8 Review: Vardy keep scoring, De Bruyne hitting form.

Jamie Vardy’s seventh goal of the season helped him into first place in the forward standings in the 2021/22 Premier League. The Leicester City striker scored for the fourth successive Gameweek, earning eight points in a 4-2 home win over Manchester United.

Aston Villa’s John McGinn and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah were the joint-top scoring midfielders over Saturday’s seven matches.McGinn earned his season-high haul of 13 points thanks to a goal and an assist against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Salah, meanwhile, recorded his fifth double-figure haul in eight Gameweeks to extend his lead at the top of the player standings.
