The English Premier League continues this Sunday as Leicester City welcomed Arsenal to the King Power Stadium on Matchday 26.

Arsenal entered the fixture after pulling off a dramatic comeback to eliminate Portuguese giant, Benfica in round 32 of the UEFA Champions League.

Mikel Arteta's men were on the path of elimination when Bukayo Saka and Pierre Emerick Aubamayeng combined beautifully to rescue Arsenal from an early elimination and booked their place in the Round of 16 where they will face Olympicacos.

Leicester City on the other hand was left embarrassed and humiliated after they lost to Slavia Prahia at home. Brendan Rodger's Foxes were handed an early elimination when Slavia Prahia defeated them 2-0 at the King Power Stadium to send Leicester City out of the UEFA Europa League.

Leicester City and Arsenal turned their attentions to the important Premier League clash between them at the King Power Stadium.

It was a tough and cagey game at the King Power Stadium with both teams matching each other for strength. It was Leicester City who took the lead after Youri Tielemans scored in the 6th minute to put the foxes in front.


Arsenal draw level in the game when Willan delivered a good cross into Leicester City's box 18 which was met and converted by an alert David Luiz to equalize for the Gunners in the 39th minute of the game.


Arsenal doubled their lead from the penalty spot when Wilfred Ndidi mistakenly handled the ball with his arm in his own penalty box which resulted in an Arsenal penalty.


Alexandre Lacazette stepped up to score the penalty to put the gunner in front just before the half time mark.


Arsenal got their third goal of the game after Nicolas Pepe finishes up a beautiful effort from Willan to put Arsenal two goals up in the 52 minutes of the game.


Arsenal move to 9th on the Premier League table as Mikel Arteta's men edged closer to a top-four finish.

Mohammed Salah will have a chance to add to his tally when Jurgen Klopp's men face Sheffield United later tonight at the Bramall Lane.

Bruno Fernandes will have a chance to add to his tally when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men face Chelsea later today at the Stamford Bridge.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are tied on the Premier League top scorer race with 13 goals each and the Tottenham duo will have a chance to increase their goal tally when the face Burnley later today at the White Hart Lane Stadium.

Today's game saw David Luiz, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe scoring to help Arsenal win.
