Super Eagles star was on target in his team 2-1 comeback victory in UEFA Europa Conference League

Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Olanrewaju Kayode was the hero for Sivasspor football club of Turkey on Thursday evening, as he netted a winning goal in their 2-1 comeback victory over Dinamo Butami FC in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.

The former Manchester City football club star was given another starting role by coach Ray Calimbay, and he was able to score a classic goal to guide his team to a deserved victory.

The Nigerian international started in his team's attack alongside Mustapha Yatabare and Sefa Yilmaz and the Super Eagles star was able to outshine his mates.

Both teams tried so hard to break the deadlock in the first half, but all their efforts were not successful, as the first half ended goalless.

The host opened scoring through Vladimer Mamuchashvili in the 54th minutes, and substitute Leke James equalized in the 75th minutes before Olanrewaju Kayode scored the winning goal in the 90th minutes to end the match 2-1.

Olanrewaju Kayode was superb for the away team throughout the entire duration of the game, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a winning goal.

The 2-1 victory over Dinamo Butami FC has now given the Turkish Super Lig giants a first leg advantage.
