Chelsea will host Fulham at Stamford Bridge in just over two weeks on February 3. The Blues have shown signs of improvement in their last two games, defeating Crystal Palace 1-0 and drawing with Liverpool at Anfield.
The game against Fulham is another tough one, and the Blues will be hoping to get their revenge after losing 2-1 in the first league meeting at Craven Cottage.
However, there is good news for fans because the club has now welcomed back six(5) key players back to team training. Let's take a look at the six players who have returned to team training and are expected to be available for Fulham's match.
1. Reece James
The 23-year-old returned to team training last week but was not permitted to face Liverpool in order to regain proper fitness, as the game was too early for him. With the long period of inactivity, he should have regained full fitness and be ready to face Fulham.
2. Ben Chilwell
Chilwell has also been spotted back in first-team training in recent days, and it appears he will be available for the game against Fulham. The defender has been out for much of the season, so he'll be eager to make an immediate impact.
3. Wesley Fofana
The defender has also returned to team training, and it appears that he will be ready for the match against Fulham.
4. Raheem Sterling
The Chelsea attacker, who was out with a hamstring injury, has been spotted in training and is expected to return in February. The blues would be hopefully that he would be fully fit to face Fulham.
5. Ngolo Kante
The midfielder has taken the first step toward recovery by returning to team training. Given how much work remains to be done, the Blues will be hoping he will be available for the game against Fulham.
