The 21 year old goal keeper lucas zidane, has joined rayo vallecano after been released by his boyhood club, real madrid.
The 22-year-old's contract was not extended by Los Blancos after he failed to make an impact in the first team. The young French goalkeeper, son of zinedine zidane came out of the real Madrid academy but struggled to get a first team shirt, so he was sent out on loan last season.
The goalkeeper who made 33 appearances for the Spanish second division club racing Santander, has now signed a two year deal with his new club Rayo vallecano.
Lucas is the son of Madrid coach Zinedine zindane. Lucas has capped up to under 19 level for the los blancos, including the under 17 world cup in 2015.
Should he have joined another Spanish team?
