Real Madrid have beaten Barcelona in La Liga.

A Real Madrid team put Barcelona to sleep by winning the 2019/2020 La Liga Cup.

They did so by scoring 86 goals at the top of the table while Barcelona are next with 79 points as they look to close the gap on La Liga.

Barcelona had hoped the sign would have happened to them but the reason for their departure was Osasuna's two-goal thrashing of the home side.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, beat Villarreal by two goals to one.

This will make it 34 times for Real Madrid to win the La Liga cup while Barcelona have won it 26 times.
