Manchester united boss has given a positive update on Varane's return. The French Center back who moved from Real Madrid in the summer is struggling to recover from a groin muscle injury sustained earlier this month while on international duty for France.
The Frenchman played twice for his country at the start of October, helping them to win the UEFA Nations League, the 19th major title of his distinguished career.
Varane joined United from Real Madrid in the summer and had already made an impression in his seven appearances for the club.
The boss revealed to Manchester united media that Varane is back on grass and progressing well in his rehabilitation.
“He’s working hard, as I said, it’s hard to put a time limit on players that you don’t really know, but he’s been on the grass and who knows?”
It’s a positive update about the no. 19, who is a key member of the squad. Any prolonged absence would be a great shame, but it seems as if Varane is progressing well in his recovery.
