Meet The Three Wingers That Have Provided Hat Trick Of Assists In 2023

Since the beginning of 2023 only three players have got hat tricks of assists in the English Premier League (EPL). Interestingly, the 3 stars are wingers. Who are these goal creators?

The first player to grab a hat trick of assists in the English top flight this year is Leandro Trossard. The Belgian left winger did it for Arsenal at Fulham on March 12, 2023. His first involvement in the game came in the 21st minute when headed in Trossard's corner. The former Brighton star combined with Martinelli to get the second goal of the encounter five minutes afterwards. Three minutes into first half injury time, the Belgium international created another goal. This time, it was captain Odegaard that slotted it home.

Michael Olise of Crystal Palace repeated the feat against Leeds on April 9. Unlike Trossard, Olise's assists in the game were provided in the second half. The England-born right winger made the cross that Jordan Ayew headed home 7 minutes before the hour. Two minutes later, he gave Eberechi Eze a pass that resulted in another goal. Odsonne Edouard benefited from the 21-years old player's pass when the former got hid own goal of the game. These three assists came from Olise's 6 key passes in the clash.

The third man to achieve this feat is Mohamed Salah. The highest paid Liverpool goal poacher was involved in all three goals scored by the Reds against Leicester on May 15. The Egyptian super star. He gave Curtis Jones one pass each in the 33rd and 36th minute. Eleven minutes after the hour, the 2021/22 EPL golden boot winner gave Trent Alexander-Arnold pas from a free kick. The English defender made no mistake as he slotted it in.
