MUN vs NEW: Kickoff Time, Team News, Possible Lineup, and What You Need To Know About The Clash

Manchester United prepares for their next clash against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup finals on Sunday in Wembley Stadium, just a few days after beating Barcelona to advance to the Europa League round of 16. They were able to edge past Barcelona in the Europa League, with a 2-1 home win enough to seal a place in the round of 16 for the Red Devils after a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou.

Manchester United made it to the competition final after they thrashed Nottingham Forest 5-0 home and away and Newcastle United overpowered Southampton to the finals, despite Southampton beating Manchester City in the quarter-finals.

What You need to know about the clash.

Manchester United was boosted by the return of Antony who scored the winner against Barcelona. The only sidelined player apart from long-term Eriksen and Van De Beek is Anthony Martial who has resumed training ahead of his return. Rashford had injury concerns against Barcelona, but the Englishman will do everything he could to play in the final.

Newcastle United on the other hand will have to play without Nick Pope after the Englishman was suspended for denying a goal opportunity against Liverpool. Anthony Gordon and Martin Dubravka won't be available because they are cup-tied, while Emil Krafth is Howe's only injury concern.

Kickoff Time.

The game will kick off at exactly 5:30 pm in Wembley Stadium on Sunday. United will be bidding for their first trophy in six years.

Possible Lineup.

David De Gea, Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Casemiro, Fred, Fernandes, Rashford, Weghorst, Antony.
