Setien to continue as coach
In the meeting, it was concluded that Barca coach Quique Setien will continue as coach till the end of the season. He will be in charge of Barca's final La Liga game against Alaves, and after that, another meeting will be held to decide if he will still be the one to continue with the team for the Champions League.
It is clear that the Barca board are unwilling to sack Setien. He is likely to remain as the team's coach for the game against Napoli and also for the Champions League in Lisbon.
Font wants to build a Barca team that will help Messi win UCL
Presidential candidate for Barca 2021 election, Victor Font, has assured Lionel Messi that he will build a team that will help him win more Champions League titles before he retires.
Font said that Messi is unhappy at Barca and he doesn't know what to do next due to the fact that he has not been winning trophies, especially the Champions League. But if he (Font) wins the 2021 elections, he will provide Messi with everything he needs in order to win more Champions League titles before he finally retires.
Fati, Puig and Araujo to play Barca's last game
Youngsters Fati, Puig and Araujo are now officially available for the game against Alaves after they were omitted from the Barcelona B squad to play against Valladolid for qualification.
Barca will be without many first team players as Pique, Griezmann, Rakitic, Umtiti, Firpo and Dembele are all out of the game against Alaves through suspension and injury. The availability of Fati, Puig and Araujo will help strengthen the team for their last game.
Barca vs Napoli game still to be played at Camp Nou
Despite the increasing cases of Covid-19 in Spain, the game between Barca and Napoli is still expected to hold at Camp Nou on August 8.
There have been fears about the postponement of the game, or if the game will be moved to another venue. But the game will hold as the new restrictions by the government in Catalonia do not prevent outdoor sport events.

Inter Milan CEO Guiseppe Marotta has claimed that Lautaro Martinez has no intention of leaving the club for Barcelona.

Coutinho set to join Arsenal on loan
Philippe Coutinho's agent is reportedly in negotiation with Arsenal over a loan deal.
Despite winning the league and 2 cup titles with Bayern Munich, the German club refused to make a permanent move for Coutinho. He and his agent are now negotiating another loan deal with Arsenal, and the deal could be finalized next week.
