Opinion: Why Ole should be blamed for Manchester United draw against Southampton

Manchester United faced Southampton away today in the premier league, the match ended in a draw after Mason Greenwood scored in the second half to restore parity to the team.

Ole got it all wrong against Southampton, the manager benched Mc Tominay and Jodan Sancho during the first half, the team lacked coordination and didn't have any focus in the defensive aspect of their game.

During the second half, Jodan Sancho changed the game and changed the team approach in terms of attack but couldn't change the scoreline.

He ignored the fact that the combination of Matic and Fred does not work well in the midfield, both players find it very hard to understand each other pattern of play and don't add anything to the attack.

Ole needs to go back to the drawing board and find out his first eleven, the manager needs to stop trying out different formations. Hopefully, he will get it right before the next premier league games and might give Varane his debut.
