POR 5 vs LUX 0: The Record Cristiano Ronaldo Attained Following His Hat-trick Against Luxembourg

Time after time, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show why he is among the greatest players in world football and earlier today, the 36 year old was in scintillating form as Portugal demolished Luxembourg in their sixth FIFA World Cup qualifying game. The Manchester United talisman began the scoring process for his side with two goals from the spot in the 8th and 13th minute coupled with a Bruno Fernandes's 17th minute strike as Portugal led 3-0 at half-time.

Joao Palhinha made it 4-0 in the 69th minute before Ronaldo completed the rout with a precise header in the 87 minute.

Following his latest treble, the Portugese captain is currently the all time leader in the men's International hat-trick chart, he has now bagged 10 hat-tricks for his national football team, no other player has scored such number of International trebles.
