Paris Saint German (PSG) played their 9th Ligue 1 fixtures against Rennes today at the Parc De Prince stadium. Paris Saint German who won their last league game against Montpelier last weekend, experienced their first defeat of the season today as Rennes comfortably defeated them by 2 goals to nothing.
However, I decided to put up this article to highlight 2 major decisions the referee took against PSG today as they experienced their first defeat of the season.
1. Giving Donnarumma a yellow card with no concrete reason: The French referee that anchored the game between PSG and Rennes today, gave PSG goal keeper a yellow card with no concrete reason in the first half of the game.
2. Disallowing Kylian Mbappe goal for offside: Kylian Mbappe found the back of the net for PSG in the second half of the game, however, the goal was disallowed by the referee and Video Assistant Referee (VAR), claiming that Mbappe was in an offside position during the build up of the goal.
What do you have to say about PSG performances in the game today? Kindly share your opinion in the comments section below.
