Leicester v Manchester United player ratings: Tielemans 8, Vardy 7; Maguire 4, Ronaldo 5

Leicester City broke their Premier League winless streak with a 4-2 home win over Manchester United on Saturday, thanks to goals from Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Jamie Vardy, and Patson Daka

Vardy capped a hectic five-minute run with a stunning strike with the outside of his foot with the score 2-2 late in the game, before Leicester substitute Patson Daka put the frosting on the cake in stoppage time.

Mason Greenwood had put United ahead in the 19th minute with a thunderbolt from 20 yards that scraped the inside of the post and soared into the far corner.

In the 31st minute, however, the visitors were punished for sloppy passing in the danger zone, as Kelechi Iheanacho robbed Harry Maguire of the ball and squared it for Tielemans to loop a looping shot over goalkeeper David de Gea into the top corner.

In the 78th minute, Soyuncu turned the tide with a close-range strike, but Marcus Rashford, recovering from shoulder surgery in August, equalized for United in the 82nd minute.

Substitute Ayoze Perez chipped the ball into Vardy's path less than 60 seconds later, and the striker gave De Gea no chance, before Daka took advantage of more poor United defense to touch the ball in at the far post.
