Why Chelsea football club will not be in action this weekend

Chelsea football club players trained this evening at Cobham centre with players likes Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Raheem Sterling all spotted at the session.

Although the Chelsea squad will continue training as the weeks goes but they will not be in action this weekend, this weekend will see the return of third round of the FA cup and first leg of Carabao cup competition respectively.

Chelsea are already out of those two competitions after suffering defeats at the hands of Manchester city in the two competitions, they lost by a single goal in the Carabao cup while they conceded four times in the FA cup.

Chelsea will therefore use this weekend to plan and prepare for there next fixture which will be against Fulham at stamford bridge on the 3rd of February.

Mykhailo Mudryk and his Chelsea teammates will not be in action this weekend via Twitter photos.

Chelsea are still in the UEFA champions league which begins next month and have lots of games to play in the English premier league.
