Ciro Immobile to miss Nations League League finals

Following the preparation for the Nations Leagur Finals, Italian striker Ciro Immobile has revealed that he will not be playing due to a thigh injury.

Immobile, who is the leading scorer in Serie A will also miss his club’s (Lazio) match. He suffered a thigh injury in the Lazio vs Lokomotiv Moscow game on Thursday. He will also miss Lazio’s Sunday game.

The players for the Italian squad nation leagues finals are as follows:

The goalkeepers are Gianluigi Donnarumma, Alex Meret and Salvatore Sirigu.

In the defending position, the players are Francesco Acerbi, Alessandro Bastoni, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Emerson and Rafael Tolói.

The midfielders for the team are Nicolò Barella, Federico Bernardeschi, Bryan Cristante, Jorginho, Manuel Locatelli, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Matteo Pessina and Marco Verratti.

For the forward positions, Domenico Berardi, Federico Chiesa, Lorenzo Insigne , Giacomo Raspadori and now Moise Kean who will be replacing Immobile (According to the Italian football federation)

On his Instagram page, immobile posted:

“Sorry for not being able to be in the match against Bologna and sorry for not being able to respond to coach Roberto Mancini’s call for the Nations League finals. I will do my best to come back as soon as possible.”
