Transfer News: Done Deals, Chelsea Target Vlahovic; Lukaku Not In Chelsea Plans For Next Season

Chelsea Target Vlahovic

Chelsea are "desperate" to sign a striker in the summer transfer window and are targeting Dusan Vlahovic, according to Football Insider. Juventus may be willing to part ways with Vlahovic at the end of the season for financial reasons, and he is on Chelsea's shortlist as they want to bring in a goalscorer.

Lukaku Not In Chelsea Plans For Next Season

Romelu Lukaku remains set to return to Chelsea for next season, but he is not in the plans at Stamford Bridge, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Belgian forward returned on loan to Inter for the 2022-23 season just one year on from leaving to return to Chelsea, but has struggled to make an impact at San Siro the second time around. The report claims that current head coach Graham Potter is 'not enthusiastic' about working with Lukaku.

Cooper criticises Blackburn again over O'Brien's failed loan move

Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has again criticised Blackburn for their handling of Lewis O'Brien's failed loan move on Deadline Day. The Championship club this week lost their appeal against the EFL's decision to refuse the loan move after they failed to upload the relevant documents in time.

O'Brien has subsequently been left in limbo as Forest did not register him in their 25-man Premier League squad, meaning he will have to look for a move abroad - possibly the MLS - if he is to play again this season.

Cooper, who criticised Rovers after the January transfer window shut, again did not hold back on his opinion about how Blackburn have handled things.

Sergio Reguilon might be heading out of Atletico Madrid at the end of the current campaign, according to Marca. Diego Simeone is not pleased with the full-back and is ready to offload him. He has made just five appearances this season and clocks under 100 minutes.
