Chelsea captain scores his first goal in international football and he was overwhelmed by emotions.

Chelsea football club captain Caesar Azpilicueta scored his first goal in international football against Croatia in the knockout stage of the on going Euro nations cup.

The defender who was a Surprise inclusion in the Spanish squad struggled initially to get game time but started their last group game and did Impress.

His efforts was rewarded with another start today and he ended up scoring his first goal in international football in the second half as Spain led at that stage by two goals to one.

The Chelsea captain may just have cemented his place at the heart of this Spanish team with this performance,

Meanwhile the game against Croatia is up there as one of the best games in an Euro nations cup knockout stage with the game ended in a three all draw at full time.

Spain went on to score more two goals in extra time to finish the game in an entertaining five goals to three score line.
