Bruno Fernandes has been perfect at Manchester United since he joined them.
Even though he hasn't been himself in the past recent matches against Southampton and Crystal Palace, that might also cause a problem for him when his side battle against Chelsea FA Cup semi-final.
Since joining Manchester United back in January transfer window, Bruno Fernandes has been a perfect player for them.
The 25 years old has helped United turn their current form around and trying to help them finish in the Premier League top four to acquire for Champions League next year.
But this past few matches Bruno Fernandes hasn't been really impressive in it.
Such dips in form are inevitable. Not even Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi can score in every single match, despite their sensational talents.
So now United facing Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday is a big blow to them, Especially when you analyse their recent performances.
He was rated 67% total action when United won 3-0 over Sheffield United on June 24th.
Then the percentage dropped to 62 during Norwich match although he played his best in the match with the FA cup match going to extra time.
He scored a sensational brace in the match against Brighton that United won 3-0, he was also rated at 62% of his total action during the match.
He was super impressive in the match against Bournemouth when United thrashed them 5-2 he was then rated at 70%.
And, against Aston Villa earlier in the month, Fernandes came off having clocked up a 64 per cent success rate.
However, in the two matches since the showdown at Villa Park, the Portugal international has appeared to struggle.
He just managed to get up to 45% of his total action during the 2-2 draw with Southampton on Monday.
Solskjaer declined the rumour that says that his players were tired after that much. He went on saying that his players were given enough time to go and rest and prepare for their next match against Southampton.
But Fernandes, too, struggled. Firstly he missed a sitter with the game delicately poised at 1-0, a miss that could have cost them dearly.
And he looked off the pace throughout the showdown. His rate of 52 per cent was still considerably down on what he’d managed against the likes of Sheffield United, Norwich, Brighton, Bournemouth and Aston Villa since the restart.
United will need him to be back to his previous form against Chelsea on Sunday.
With or without Fernandes in their squad they have already beaten The Blues three times this season but Frank Lampard squad still remains a tough opponent.
In the past 13 years Chelsea have also beaten United twice in Wembley, that was in the 20017/20018 FA Cup final.
So with Fernandes or no Fernandes United needs to be operating at 100% rate if not there chances of lifting the trophy up might be slim.
