Man United have just received worrying fitness news after star striker Anthony Martial limped off the pitch during France's latest 2022 world cup qualification game against Kazakhstan. The 25 year old went down with an injury in the second half of the encounter and was subsequently unable to continue.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solsjaer would be livid following news that Marcus Rashford also left the England camp with injury as well as winger Mason Greenwood who pulled out of the England under 21 setup. Both have now returned to Manchester and await further news regarding the severity of the injuries.
Coach Solskjaer would be hoping the injury to Martial is not too serious as club footba returns after the international break this weekend. Anthony Martial has struggled for form and consistency so far this season while Mason Greenwood has failed to replicate his project restart form. If the injury to the three is revealed to be serious, it would mean United only gave one fit senior centre forward around in Edinson Cavani.
