UEFA Youth Champions League: Chelsea FC came from behind to defeat Zenit 3-1

Chelsea football club of England youngsters were exceptional on Tuesday afternoon, as they defeated Zenit Saint Petersburg football club 3-1 in the UEFA Youth Champions League.

Coach Myers fielded a strong starting eleven against their Russia Premier League counterpart, and they were able to get the maximum victory at Cobham training center.

Myers started with 3-4-3 formation, and the players were able to perform excellently on the pitch.

The visitors took the lead through Russia under 20 youngster Evgeniy Kim in the 34th minutes to end the first half 1-0.

Charlie Webster equalized for the home team in the 53rd minutes, and Harvey Vale put the host ahead in the 69th minutes before Jude Soonsup scored the last goal of the game in the 72nd minutes to end the match 3-1.

The Blues youngsters were exceptional from the beginning to the end of the game, and they were able to come from a goal down to win the game.

The 3-1 victory over Zenit Saint Petersburg youth team has now taken the Blues under 19 to the top spot of group H table with 3 points from 1 match played.
