Fred's Poor Performances And Softness In The Midfield Of Man United Could Put Solskjaer In Trouble

Most Manchester United players would comfortably blame Fred for all the points dropped by the team in this 2021/22/season. Although blaming Fred for all the points dropped could be a harsh thing to do, Fred's poor performance is the main reason why he will always be that guy who takes all the blames.

Toady's match between Manchester United and Everton was another opportunity for Fred to redeem himself, but the Manchester United midfielder could only manage to add to his collection of woeful performances in manchester United.

Manchester United drew the match 1-1 despite Everton not playing much football for most parts of the 90 minutes. It only took a counterattack breakaway from Everton to level the score after Martial had scored for Manchester United in the first half of the encounter.

As always, Fred was found wanting as his soft tackle on Grey allowed Everton to score Manchester United. Manchester United was ahead as the second kicked off. Few minutes after the second half kicked off, Manchester United got a corner kick which was swiftly dealt with by Everton. Fred had multiple opportunities to recover the ball for Manchester United but his lack of seriousness and softness allowed Grey to emerge with the ball.

The issue is that Everton did not do much to get one point in the match. If only Fred was a little bit tougher in his tackle on Grey, Everton would not have gotten the opportunity which resulted in another disappointing draw for Manchester United. Fred is a regular player in Solskjaer's team and no matter what he does, Solskjaer will always start him in the next match.

With the way, Fred plays football in the midfield of Manchester United, it won't be long before the team lands in serious trouble. Solskjaer is already in the hot seat and, surprisingly, Solskjaer has refused to see what everyone sees in Fred. Solskjaer must either bring out the best in Fred or he must start benching him.

If Solskjaer keeps on tolerating Fred's mistakes which has continued to cost Manchester United so much, a time will come when Manchester United's board will have to decide between retaining Solskjaer and saving the pride of Manchester United.
