Chelsea next game after winning Brantford would be against Malmo FF in the Champions League.
The blues last outing in the UEFA Champions league ended in a 1-0 loss to Italian gaints, Juventus. Definitely, Tuchel would need to record a win against Malmo on Saturday to keep chelsea away from been eliminated.
Here is my strongest chelsea lineup for Wednesday's game against Malmo FF.
Edouard Mendy put in a strong performance against Brantford and will almost certainly be included in the squad that faces Malmo.
Thaigo Silva and Rudiger are expected to play on Wednesday. The two should start with Christiansen in defence.
Ben Chilwell has been excellent in recent weeks, but I believe Tuchel should start Alonso at the left wing back position. Alonso was great for Spain during the international break, helping the country reach the finals. Recce James should start ahead of Azpillicuta at right wing back.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has demonstrated that he is ready to make a significant contribution for Chelsea this season. He should play in midfield with Kovacic, based on his performance against Brantford.
Lukaku has now gone six games without scoring for chelsea. This would be inconvenient for him, and I'm sure he'd want to change the story on Wednesday. With Timo Werner and Mason Mount in attack, he should start as a Chelsea striker.
Possible Formation; 3-4-3
Chelsea Strongest possible lineup to face Malmo on Wednesday; Mendy; Christiansen, Thaigo, Rudiger; James, Ruben, Kovacic, Alonso; Jones; Mount, Lukaku , Timo Werner.
