25 NPHFL players have been invited to a friendly in Mexico by Rohr

Enyimba winger Anayo Iwuala, who has already earned four caps for the Super Eagles, has been named in a 25-man NPFL squad for a friendly against Mexico in Los Angeles, USA, next month.

African champions three times Nigeria will face the CONCACAF Gold Cup holders on July 3 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as part of the Mexican Mex Tour Series, which will see them play three matches before facing Nigeria.

Enyimba, midfielder Ekundayo Ojo, and forwards Ibrahim Olawoyin (Rangers International) and Stephen Jude (Rangers International) have all been invited (Kwara United).

The players are due to arrive with their travel documents at the Serob Legacy Hotel in Wuye, Abuja, on Tuesday.

Only 22 of them will go to the United States for a glamorous meet-up.

The match, which begins at 7:30 p.m. local time, will be the sixth meeting between the senior teams of both countries, with four previous meetings ending in draws. Mexico claimed the series' only victory, a 2-1 victory over the United States in a gold cup match in Dallas.
