England managed a 2-0 victory over Albania in what seems to be a thrilling game of football. Southgate would be glad with the performance of the team despite scoring just two goals against a low-level European side. Many would have expected England to run riot after getting to see the lineup. However, things didn't go as expected.
England struggled in the early stages of the game as they continue to press for the breakthrough. Towards the end of the first half, Harry Kane grabbed the needed goal after heading the ball past Albania's goalkeeper.
There was a talking point after Harry Kane's goal. Declan Rice's hand was left hanging as other players never noticed him during the celebration. The Westham midfielder had a pretty good game at the middle of the park and it was unfair to be given such a reaction while celebrating a goal.
Speaking after the game, Harry Kane has apologized to Rice. Kane said he never checked behind his shoulder to see if anyone was there. However, Declan Rice didn't take that situation serious as he decided to laugh it off on his social media page.
