Mo Salah has been scoring for Liverpool for 9 consecutive games now. He scored for the 9th consecutive games against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League on Matchday 3. He has been on fire this season because he has been providing some assists for some goals as well. Manchester United striker, Mason Greenwood on the other hand is still an amateur striker because he is only 20 years old and had not had the game time and experience that Salah has. Greenwood however has scored 4 goals so far this season for Manchester United and he is still hungry for more.
In this article, I will closely compare their goal scoring rate in the English Premier League since the start of April.
Since the start of April, Salah has scored 12 league goals for Liverpool, while Mason Greenwood had scored 10 league goals for Manchester United.
This means only one thing, if Greenwood is given more opportunities upfront for Manchester United, he will deliver for the team, the same way Salah is delivering for Liverpool. It is interesting to note also that only Salah has more league goals than Greenwood since the start of April. Let's hope Greenwood has more game time to prove himself.
